Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College evolved from the Chuanzheng Academy—China’s first state-run modern higher vocational and technical institution founded in 1866. With a history of 160 years, it is the cradle of modern vocational education in China.
Approved by the Ministry of Education, Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College is a public provincial higher vocational college. It is one of China’s first 28 National Demonstrative Higher Vocational Colleges, a National High-quality Higher Vocational College, and one of the institutions selected for the national Double High-Level Plan in both Phase I and Phase II. FJCCC has received numerous honorsand awardsincludingthe 5th and 9th “Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Excellence Award,” Nomination Award of the 3rd China Quality Award.
Led by two national Double High-Level specialty groups, namely Navigation Technology and Road and Bridge Engineering Technology, the college has developed nine distinctive modern transportation major clusters covering marine, land, air and rail disciplines, comprising various majors such as Safety Technology and Management, New Energy Vehicle Technology, Low-Altitude Economy and Transportation Services, Rail Transit, Machinery and Intelligent Manufacturing, Economics and Management, as well as Information Technology and Smart Transportation.The college has formed a marine-land-air-railintegrated development system for transportation specialties and a school-running philosophy of layingequalstresson education and vocational skill training.
The college actively engages in international industrial cooperation. It has established six provincial-level Maritime Silk Road Colleges in collaboration with AVIC International, Xiamen King Long, China Railway Signal & Communication, GREE Electric Appliances and other multinational corporations. It has become a member of the World Technical and Vocational Education and Training League, a Council Member of the Luban Workshop Development League, and a Chinese member institution of the China-Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Federation.
